Being My BEST MAN!
Many of us men have a strong tendency to come across as being somewhat “extremist” by nature! We often exhibit signs of possessing that uncompromising “All or Nothing” mentality which reveals a serious lack of balance and inability to Be Our Best on a consistent basis. In this workshop we will get right down to the brass tacks and shoot straight from the hip regarding proven processes to successfully relieve and alleviate much of the confusion regarding how to be the Strong Man that our Strong Women can love, honor, respect and trust. In order to ensure we don’t leave anything of significance out, we plan on discussing valuable ways of efficiently dealing with the three main areas of every man’s existence, his Life, Relationships and Career. Topics of Discussion and Instruction will include: Proper Leadership: Manage the Relationship not the Mood, The power of delegation (embrace the strengths of others), Proper financial management (financial stress can be avoided if you SAVE and don’t over-extend your finances), Don’t compete with the Jones (challenge yourself to be the best you not the best them). Possess Swagger: Understand your worth, it is not others who determine your value, it is you! Presentation is key. The way you dress, talk, walk and smell is the first impression others will receive from you. Be Entitled, don’t accept treatment from yourself or others less that what you truly deserve. Be a GREAT Communicator: Be quick to Listen, understand and forgive while being slow to speak and complain! Be Personally Responsible: Don’t blame others for your life circumstances! Continued Growth: Live your life in student mode. When we stop learning we are no longer of value to ourselves or others. Remove Ego and ask for help when it is needed (use available resources) Be Manly- Not Macho: Learn to develop and maintain a life-style of the very highest moral standards, self discipline, decisiveness, strength of convictions, honesty and the courage to face challenges. Be A Giver: Giving naturally prepares and enables us to receive while the mind set of a taker naturally leads to many serious problems! Be Goal Oriented: Think about what you desire to be and set short and long term goals to achieve it. These goals will help you to maintain focus in the midst of difficulties. Be Alert: Always know what’s going on in your surrounding environment and keep a cool head. When you perceive a” situation” arising, take charge and create solutions. Think Before You Act: Become “proactive” instead of being reactive and responding emotionally or with fear, which can create a lot of collateral damages. Be Decisive: Don’t transfer or delay decision, avoidance is a sign of weakness and insecurity/Take responsibility for the outcome. Seek Mentors: Align and interact with men who are further along the path while being sure to help those men who could benefit from your guidance! Be a Gentleman At All Times: Chivalry / Treat others the way you desire to be treated / Learn the power of NO Be a Community Advocate: Create ways to give back to your community
